Mote Park Engagement shoot
In true British style I’m going to talk about the weather! I was apprehensive about today it honestly said it was going to rain right up until yesterday’s forecast where I stopped looking because I felt so ill with flu. Knowing I had a shoot I retreated to bed to rest.
I really was excited to meet Helen and Chris today, Helen had emailed me late last year to get an idea on pricing and avaliblity and then nothing I heard nothing. Not being the hard salesperson I probably should be! I left it, deciding she had found her photographer when early in 2012 she got in touch to ask if I was still available. YES!!!

Helen and Chris are getting married at Bridgewood Manor Hotel in Chatham in July, today was their pre-wedding shoot, I like doing these it means we get to know each other it’s informal and we chat, it’s a good way to see me work although obviously your wedding day will be vastly different to quite literally a walk in the park!

Alex is a very active cheeky toddler & will hopefully be carrying the rings on the day, watching how active he was on this shoot I’m considering roller skates for the actual wedding!

I love it when couples bring along their children because it then becomes so very much like a family shoot and I love doing those as well!

We did our shoot in Mote Park in Maidstone, there is a lot of construction going on there so not every where is accessible and some area like the streams are full of rubbish which is a real shame as the bridges are so pretty!

Very photogenic couple it’s amazing how much people hate having their photos taken and I always think after why you look great!

Lovely to meet you both and I can’t wait for the wedding it sounds as if it’s going to be so pretty!
